Native American tribes like the Chickasaws, and Choctaws (just to name 2 examples) have played Stickball for countless centuries, if not millennia. This traditional sport existed many centuries before Europeans arrived on the continent. The sport (Stickball) is also known as “little brother of war” or Itti' kapochcha to'li' - acccording to Chickasaw.net
Back in the day, amoungst the tribes, whenever any dispute arose... Instead of going to war - Elder tribal leaders would meet together, and decide on a location to go and play Stickball. Prefering to use the extremely physical sport, to settle their differences (between different tribes) instead of an actual war. Tribes would opt for the “little brother of war.”
Traditionally those battles/games could last several days, or from sunup until sundown. In some orally shared examples, people are said to have had to climb trees, in order to see and keep track of the ball over vastly wide playing grounds. The playing area was so big that, a single "battle ground" could host 1'000 players (or probably even more)... all chasing after the same ball.
Nowadays, the games are usually played between two poles, placed 100 yards apart.

Stickball Plus is a platform where you come and livestream Stickball games, or watch videos of full matches from our gallery. Our main goal is to bring stickball to all the communities, families, and viewers who enjoy this gruesomely physical spectacle of a sport!

We are always looking for volunteers to model for us, while holding sticks (face painted models would also be perfect). If you already have photographs that we can use, that would be wonderful. We are also open to donations, to help us travel to more events. Stickball Plus intends to purchase livestreaming gear like this one (NearStream 3-pack/set camera) or the NearStream VM46 (x2) either setups would cost around : $1500 (at the time of publishing this answer)
In the future we plan to to deliver multi-cam livestreams of all and any Stickbakll tournaments, and social games too. We intend to grow this website, our social platforms, and build an app for smart TVs, and mobile devices. Think of this as the growth of a Stickball network, loaded with matches, interviews, and shows. All revolving around Stickball, stickball players, and their communities/families.
Within all that, we hope to build and saponsor Stickball teams of our own (when resources allow). And ultimately, we intend to bring this sport to as many people as possible. With the dream of creating a Stickball league outside of America, in places where trhe sport has NOT yet reached.
